Hi all. Does anyone know if i use heras fence panals which are galvanised to cover my pond while i am on holiday. Will there be any polutants going in to the pond from the galvanise if it rains. These panals seem ideal for protection from animals or small children falling in the pond which is 5 foot...

Hi. Have just had a 4000 gallon pond built,everthing ok except surface skimmer,hardly skims surface at all. skimmer is powered by aquamax 8000 being used dry{was originaly used wet in old pond} to wide mouth skimmer to hidroclean filter. Does any one know if pump is strong enough. Thanks for any adv...

Another question, am useing a hidroclean as a mechanical filter off my skimmer line,could i use k1 in hidroclean filter if so what would you put it in,and would this add extra biological filteration.

Hi. Can not find anyone local to bulld my new pond so thinking of a few changes on my 1500 gallon pond. pond is filtered by nexus 200 pump fed. would i gain anything by useing an airated portable bottom dome and useing a dry pump. if useing dry pump will it still nead to be installed before uv light...

skimmer filter

hi. having a new pond build. i am going to have a skimmer in wall and was wandering which would be a good filter on line.[do not want to waste just going straight back into pond] i was thinking of low maintenance and fairly cheap as my main filter is a nexus 200. maybe cartridge filter or the likes....

at the moment i have a nexus 200 pump fed on pond of 1500 gallons but want the pond gravity fed [have kept koi 2 years know]
