get yourself a good book on moulding technices you will find out all sorts of better ways to do it and then modify to suit your own skills if I tell you how to do it you might not find it easier then using the grinder its like everything else learn as you go :D I see you used lots of PVA as a releas...

sloping sides
There is no problem with the sloping sides in a pond at all its very rare that fish flick off a wall whether straight or angled,

Foil side can be glassed on to no problem so which ever way round you want to fit it is fine for glassing on

Hi Dave
Leave the foil on apart from where you need to sand it ie at top of walls just trim foil back with a stanly knife cut about an 1 away from where you want to sand. it sands well then without ripping the foil to bits.

Fitting Foam
Dont fix foam with car body filler it leaves voids behind, just make sure blockwork walls have no nots on them and fix foam with masonary nails into jmortar joints, when pond is filled foam will sit back tight to wall with no pressure points at all. Kingspan foam works as well and is cheaper !!!!! W...

Ted I would move your skimmer position to the bottom left hand corner about 9" away from the left hand wall the reason for this is due to the splay on the left hand side surface debris will be kicked out slightly and will possibly miss the skimmer, the other alternative is to position it adjace...
