o2

Post by amanda »

May be a silly question but can too much o2 cause thicker mucous on koi?
i added on my air pumps for the summer and noticed that after a few days i could see patches of opaque ness on the head of some of the koi i have scraped, nothing found, no flashing or other changes in behaviour etc just the slight mucous.
Only since the extra air went on. :?

hi Amanda

just back off holiday

i would not think extra O2 would cause this in fact i would think the oposite would be apparent but its real easy to solve

turn the air back off and observe what happens to the cutical on the koi

might not be instant but its should answer your question
