koi on bottom

Post by amanda »

Hi Guys just a question i have different koi that seem to take turns in sitting on the bottom.
i see them when i go to feed them but as soon as i turn up they race up to be fed should i be concerned they have been doing this on and off all summer.
They did do it last year too but not as much
Also they shoal up together in one area in the mornings when i go to feed but the usual rush for food is still there as soon as i turn up :?

Amanda what im saying is there is no medical reason why they should do this and obviously over the time period its not causing any lasting harm

Sorry Duncan i didn't mean it to sound the way it did.
No major issues other than the odd fluke and trich. its just as you said a quirky behaviour with my lot that has no lasting health issues.
