Clever, these old Sussex koi!!
That was the original pic of him before koijon and me rescued him...he was in a tiny tank, on his own, in a dark garage. Now...he's in with the boys, first up for the grub and growing rapidly.

Beko = a white fish with black but no black on the head.
With black on the head it's a shiro utsuri

The heads of some fish will seem yellowish it normally where the skin is near the bone of the fish
