I've updated the site to make it clearer and tried to simplify it a bit.

Does it do it for you?

I've got to propose it to the bosses next week, hence why I've been asking for your help before I show it to them and to try get the go ahead to spend some money on it

No difference John, the site is the same as when it was at the time of my response :? :?: Except perhaps a bit more in the "Why haven't I heard of these pumps before" section that I suspect you were in the middle of before your work laptop battery went dead. However I don't think the answer, which is essentially said to be because they were blue is an answer to why haven't I heard of these pumps before.

Will there be an ECO range to help save on the electricity bills ?

From your earlier post - A lot of the information you have on the site is confusing and the points you are trying to make lost because of the layout. To a certain extent your initial post on this board gives more information than the website
Your right about the blue pump info I'll change it tomorrow

ECO - range, I'm not sure as the parent company (Ubbink) keep everything close to their chest until the major trade show which is actually over in Koln this weekend. If there is anything for the Koi market I'll let you know know, but our Powermax range isn't all that bad for the lift it gives over ALL of the competition.

Your earlier post, I don't think it's confusing but I guess that's because I builts it. when I get chance I'll re view it and try and look at it from a consumers point.

Hi John

If you look at the thread about Eco pumps you can see what we want..

I started out with sequence pumps but literally threw them away after less than a years use because they were so noisy and Pumphouse support was so poor.

I am currently running 4 Aquamax 15000 an Eco 16000, Eco 12000, 8000 and three 6000, I havn't had any problems with any of them but Oase service when I had a problem with a Pondvac was so good that they "captured" me as a customer.

My view is that loyalty and reputation has to be earned, after that you can charge comparative prices but until that stage you will have to offer an significant incentive in terms of cost to capture market share.

Regards

Dave

Hi all, I've not been online for a while, work and mountain biking have taken over.

Just to let you know the new black range WILL be launched to the market very early in the new year.

The confirmed prices should retail around

Powermax 3200 - £99.99 - 3350lph- 1.9m head - 68 watts
Powermax 5000 - £119.99 - 6550lph - 2.2m head - 75 watts
Powermax 7500 - £139.99 - 8180lph - 2.7m head - 95 watts
Powermax 10000 - £159.99 - 9550lph - 2.9m head - 110 watts

Cascademax 12000 - £189.99 - 12000lph - 4m head - 158 watts
Cascademax 15000 - £219.99 - 15000lph - 5m head - 210 watts
Cascademax 18000 - £249.99 - 18000lph - 6m head - 250 watts

How do these figures look and compare?

Ask about Ubbink at your retailer, even if your not ordering - please!!!!

No expert here, but at first glance I can see that as electricity rises then I am better off with the oase eco 16000 at 180w that I got for £295 and I bought it on recommendation from this site actually, but the online site was the only one that was that price and the rest were all the same at £319 I think.

Our previous dodgy pump cost £50 and was guzzling 700w for 10 years!
