I looked on my bottle but it has another chemical in it beside the MG&F. It has the percentage on the bottle but it doesn't say per dose if you know what I mean. Duncan's book has specific amounts of Malachite and Formalin per gallons of water. So I can't really compare the two. Maybe I should keep Malachite green and formalin in my emergency products rather than the pre bottled stuff. Koi seem about the same after last treatment. They look slightly less red. If they are on the mend, I think it's going to be a slow process.

Thanks,
Dan

Fish are still about the same. One of my big Sanke's looks like it is kinda "peeling/sluffing". It is real red and I would imagine it is the slime coat that's sluffing off. I had one Koi look like that the first day but now it looks better but still red. Strange, it's like something has irritated them to the point where there slime coat is effected. A few of them also have a whitish film that you can see on the beni. About half of them look like they are minorly effected.

Third treatment of Proform C is done (MF&G). I have done four 30% water changes in a week now.

Update on situation. Koi are improving. Redness is almost completely gone. All are eating well. No permanent signs of damage other tha a few with what looks like whitish to clear looking blisters/bubbles which I hope is not bacterial related. I am satisfied with the progress considering the problems I was having two weeks ago.

Hi Dan

Glad to hear things are clearing up for you and the Koi are improving. You may never get to the bottom of what caused this but you will have learnt a lot from this episode, I know it doesn't help a great deal while going through it but when you come out the other side still have all your Koi then you know you must of done something right :)
