Hi Jane,

Probably 1-2inches at a guess?

thanks, thats rather a lot of a drop. is the drop in water height progressive through the various bays or is it in one bay. the reason i ask is it does seem that your filter is very restrictive. you need to aim for a drop of half an inch at most. this gives you some grace for when your K1 starts to block.

Hi Jane,

Its about an inch from the filter to the first pond and then level through the rest of the system. Ive only got 2inch bottom drains which cause a fair restriction. There is a four inch transfer port from the static k1 which is fully submerged so hopefully there is enough height for it to go a few days without cleaning. Ive got to modify the static chamber to use an easy as the waste is hard to flush at the moment.

Looking good! Love the air uplift idea, if fact due to a CL1 on the QT being modified in a bad way, I had to use some spare air to get it shifting from chamber to chamber which works great!
