Andy,

Raise the garden with all the top soil you've dug out!

Put decking over the whole of the garden and hide all of the soil and you wont have to get rid of it by skip/grab-lorry and you wont have to mow any grass!

Hi,

I wish someone had told me how much hard work building a pond was! Me and my mate have spent the last two days solid with wheel barrows moving soil from the garden to the front garden ready for a grab lorry-only thing is after 2 days there doesnt appear to be any less in the garden despite the large pile in the front. Im guessing ive only move 15%ish!!!!

Hi

On friday me and my poor mate moved the rest of the soil from the back garden to the front garden! Never realised how hard it would be! Grab lorry came on Saturday morning and took most of it away! I now how my garden back-actually feel like im getting somewhere now!

Mini digger booked for next weekend to dig filter bay, bottom drain trench, trench for drainage and level garden off. Obviously downing tools on Sunday for a little trip to cuttlebrook!

Hopefully base should be going in weekend after- then hopefully it will be all systems go!

Hi Gazza,

Unfortunately he left a bit although he did try his hardest to get it all in! Got to give the driver credit-after several cups of tea i managed to get him to do it for cash! Saved me over £30-bargain! :D :D :D
