new treatment

Last year I trialled a new ulcer treatment namely Propolis it worked really well I even gave a little bit away and reports back also confirmed this
Now I can here you say there is nothing new about propolis and yes that’s partly true you can by it most places Holland and Barrett being a point in case but it depends what your interpretation of what exactly Propolis was/is ?
I’m not going to go into the healing properties of Propolis these are well documented but I would hazard a guess most people don’t actually know what it is and exactly what it looks like
To start off with Propolis is made by bees in a hive it’s not honey it’s actually bee glue the substance that holds the hive and honey comb together
What folks have come to know as propolis is actually mostly alcohol, it comes usually in a small bottle around 20 ml and the actual propolis is only a very small
What I’m talking about is natural raw pure propolis in its real natural state.
When propolis is harvested it comes as small chips of resin this can be ground down into a fine dry powder and is still pure propolis this is how I have been using it as this powder before somebody has bastardised it into a weak solution to make a fortune out of it.
Now its true not all propolis is created equal in so much as European propolis contains environmental contamination form industry and traffic (lead, soot, etc)
Where as if you buy Brazilian Propolis and alike it will tend to come in a much purer form that said any pure Propolis is preferable to the alcoholic tincture you currently buy , but be warned it does not come cheap. I know I bought 3 kg of this and it set me back around £400-450 maybe more, I cant find the invoice now, trust me honey is the easy part to get, this is what holds the hive together (bee glue) to get it you have to wreck the hive this makes it as rare and exotic as saffron in the commodity markets.
So what special about using it in this form?
Well try as a might I cant get the liquid tincture form to stick it always ends up on the pond/tank floor second as good as tincture might be its just not as concentrated as the pure item
With this product form once the ulcer is cleaned this becomes you topical and sealer all in one and boy does it stick when applied to a wetted surface but you can if you wish for a little extra security dab a little liquid sealer on top but the point is this is a perfectly natural product in fact it don’t get any more natural than this but till I can sort out what I paid exactly I source some more I cant even give you an idea of price but I would think it would be a round £15 for 25 gm which would be the same size tube as orahesive comes in roughly

.Spoke to the bee man,he knew what i was after.From my understanding you can get some when you remove the honey but it is such a small amount,maybe a teaspoon and there will also be bits of comb too.He will chat to others at the next bee club meet in a few weeks time.Maybe better news then.
