Hi All
I noticed red marks on the nuckle part of the pecs of a 30" showa not too sure if it's too late in the year as my pond is 13.2,but felt I had to,cleaned the area and put Micrcrome(spelling red stuff off Duncan)due to a long Winter in front of us,there wasn't any infection as such but just red and looked sore, hope I did the right thing.

Regards Geoff

Hi Geoff,

As long as there was no infection and was perhaps a graze or mark you should be OK mate .

Hi I would agree with Gazza also it is better to treat with a gentle clean so you know it's clean rather than leave it.I think you made a good call.

Thanks Tom
I can still see a bit of red on the nuckles but they look a lot better, she is still feeding, pond now down to 10.8c(should read 12.8c),does anyone think I should retreat or leave her alone at this tempreture?.

Regards Geoff

Hi Geoff,

If it looks better then i would leave it alone but keep an eye on things just in case as the less stress when they are on the mend the better :D

Thanks Gazza
We can always rely on your good advice, must say she was as good as gold when I treated her before, she's a seki gushi showa and now 32",I gussed at 30" but when I got her in the bowi she was 32" so she's doing well,no pictures as I'm a mere man and can't multi-task

Kind Regards Geoff
