Gazza
That Sanke really looks as though it's grown. Definitely my preference - though I wouldn't say no to the second Shiro either!
Cheers

Hi Gazza
Nice selection of fish mate.
Do you have the cms before and now.
Its mad how a photo can be deceiving, first picture of the Kohaku looks OK, but the second picky, wow he - she looks great
The last Shiro is very nice, and coming along nicely.
Who are the breeders ?
Regards
Andy

Hi Gazza

Looking good, I don't know what you are doing but it seem's to be working.

Andy - The first Kohaku picture is as it left my place, after a few months of a forced diet. If it moved around it found food and therefore grew a bit, but showed a belly. Second picture reaslly shows it off well.
I visited Gazza's pond last weekend and all of his Koi look superb. Since Gazza changed over to soft/low Ph water, the skin on his Koi has improved dramatically. The top shiro has really grown and those pictures just dont do it justice.
But remember, Gazza really knows his water stuff now, tests everything, keeps good records, monitors his water 24/7 with a bank of electronic testers. Gazza has an ORP of 370 (was only 369 when I was there though!), which just goes to show how clean his water is. Result = Koi quality.

Hi Bob,
Yes there was something that just struck me with this fish and the amount of Sumi that can come through is amazing. Its also a female...well i think so lol but not growing as quick as the mail Shiro which is strange....unless its changes sex lol.
Again the picture does not do her justice and i hope to get some better ones soon but i am pleased with her

Yes, I really like Showa Gazza,
Nothing special, but I felt sorry for this skinny little waif when I saw it in an end of season bargain tank. I liked it's marking and at £6.00 I decided to take a massive gamble!!

Second photo is only a couple of months later and he's really filling out well.

I keep a close eye on the clearish patch that can be seen just behind the shoulder sumi, but it doesn't look sore or get any worse so I suspect it's some sort of scar tissue.
Cheers
