What do I do with my new q/tank

As previous post
I will have hopefully sometime tomorrow am, a 6FT X 4FT X4FT f/glass tank, with a flat base( no legs etc).
I have in my possession a 55watt u/v lamp (never used by me)/tube has been replaced for new as has quartz sleeve.
1 x grunfloss pump + a submersable pump of unknown capacity but a guestimate of 1000 gall/hour pumping on the level
Enough trays to make a trickle tower/bakki shower of some sort-
2 redundant fluid beds
A few other bits and piieces including a secoh 100 and a max air ring with connecting pipe.
Any ideas on design and any known pit falls.
I have all summer to complete this as I havent got a shed to fit it in yet.
In fact I have now idea where I am going to put it but I will worry about that later.
Any thoughts ideas please feel free to air them.

Hi,

Does the tank have a bottom drain? If not could you fit one to it? Or use a retrofit bottom drain.

You might be able to pump direct from drain to shower, or have some sort of mechanical filtration first e.g. static K1 or a gravity fed sieve.

Once you've got the tank, post some piccies, might help a bit.

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi SOF,

OK so its around about 600gln so a nice size what will you be using it for :?:

I would defiantly run some king of shower as they just work so well and take up no space at all :D

You could also use the fluid bed filters on another line as more filtration the better :D

If you can cut in a bottom drain then go for it nothing stooping you having two one to each filter :D

But you will need somewhere to keep it as this isn't a little tank and i am sure they will notice it in the living room

Just put your pictures on a site like the ones below and then copy and paste the pictures from the site is the easiest way IMO.
