Simply Koi and More Koi

The kids over the weekend thought it would be cool if they put a candle in the window opening so they could see the fish at night.

BIG BIG mistake. The heat has cracked the outer layer of glass in the 12mm laminate.

Lucky enough the glass is not leaking and there is no imminent danger but if there was a way I could bring back hanging I would. The fish can't make out what the line is all about but they're going to have to live with it until next year now.

Well I really feel for you Phil that is real bad news, and I appreciate the info as I have on occasion had candles in my window and luckily got away with it . but sure won't be doing it again.
