Simply Koi and More Koi

When i use my pond vac i only get about a minutes suck time before it stops to empty itself how can i get round this problem so its working all the time ???

I want to Build a Home-made Quarantine tank for housing new purchases in before they go into my main pond i am thinking of using a Cold water tank has anybody got any experience of doing this?
