Do you happen to know if salted water & Sabbactisun go together OK ?
I have large Chagoi undergoing treatment for abrasion damage, in 100 gallon tank
Fish introduced at 10c & progressively cranked up to 22c (14 days)
Filtrated & water salted(iaw your book) at onset.
Sabbactisun introduced daily when temp: at 22c at prescribed dosage.
When dosing 4 days later fish reacted violently & commenced flashing.
Obviously severely stressed so I immediately transferred 40% water out & commenced drip feed of fresh water to maintain constant temp:
Fish progressively quietened as water change took effect.
I have stopped adding Sabbactisun.
I am progressively weakening the salt/Sabbactisun mixture by constant
drip feed/loss & will then re-commence Sabbactisun treatment.
I would emphasise that there has been no overdosage of salt or Sabbactisun

Do you have any thoughts ?
