A few questions regarding Telmin

Post by DaveB »

Hi folks when useing telmin is it the same protocol as with superverm ie One of dose ( assuming it kills gill fluke eggs too) and sprea dit around the pond over 3 or 4 hours . Then after 48 hours carry out a few daily 15% water changes. How long would you expect Temlin to stay in the system and would the normal 7 days wait before and after before adding different treatment. Just to get an idea if I use it. Best Regards Dave

Hi Dave,

I seem to remember reading Dunc's trials and i think it was added over a course of 3-4 hours and poured round the edges of the pond.

I have always treated once and must admit to chucking it all in in one dose. I am sure that all flukes produce live offspring rather than laying eggs...skin flukes 1005 SURE GILL FLUKES 99.999999%
NEVER HAD A BAD REACTION TO SINGLE DOSE OF TELMIN IN ONE HIT BUT A NOTE OF CAUTION AS i HAVE HEARD OF OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE SO PERHAPS CAUTION IS ADVISED AND FOLLOW gAZZAS PROTOCOL

Thanks for your input. Its nice to know how many people have started using it as apposed to superverm. I have heard of people having problems with superverm and I have used it and never had a problem so feel confident about using telmin especially after reading up on Duncan trials. best Regards Dave
