How much prazi

Hi guys. How much prazi would I need to kill flukes in a 2100 gallon pond.

Hi Kev,

I recently purchased some prazi from Duncan for a 4,400 gal pond and he advised a dose of 44grms per treatment so I would assume you would need 21 grms. If they are skin flukes just one treatment of 21grms will do the trick - if they are gill flukes it is 2 treatments of 21 grms each time with 7 days between the first and second treatments. Advice on how to properly dissolve the prazi before putting in the pond is on the packet if you buy the prazi from Duncan's site - 'The Chemical Factory'.

Hi Kev,

No problem - I forgot to mention that you should turn off your UV during treatment and ideally your skimmer and avoid doing water changes or reduce water changes to the absolute minimum during treatment as the prazi needs to remain at a certain concentration for a certain period in the pond water to be totally effective and water changes during the treatment will obviously reduce the concentration of prazi in the pond.
