Good stuff, i'm a little disadvantaged at the moment as I haven't got a growing on tank yet. I will have a brick shed with plenty of space in when I clean it out this week though!
Looking forward to getting it done and getting some small fish from cuttlebrook, will give me something to do over the winter.
Now thats the spirit James go for it sounds like you can make yourself a nice little growing on?QT tank in there.
The beauty of doing this is you can have new small fish in you system for nearly a year (depending on when you get them) before they tough the main pool so a nice long QT
I've been walking round my delivery today (i'm a postie) daydreaming about quarantine tanks, home made showers, bottm drains, pumps, food, heating, and how to turn those little mr muscles in Arnold schwarzeneggers in 6 months.....it'll be a wonder if anyone has got the right post today
Thats the way James the more you think and plan about it the better it will be and some inside information keep you eye on the site as you may see a new QT/growing on system build coming up very shortly
A slow grower purchased on 7th May @ Cuttlebrook for the princely sum of £5. Was 12cm then and is now 24cm. It may get grown on over the Winter months, depends on the amount of others I have to choose from after the 15th October!
ok folks heres my grownshow for this winter.
it comes from Duncans 2006 spawning and is aprox on and a half inches long.
the picture may be a bit big but hey youve got to make it look big aint you...LOL
