Hi Liam,
Im afraid i cant take c4redit for making the filter-its a Bob Hart special!

Hi Amanda,
Thanks for the offer-will definately have some insulation if you've got some going-i work in Ipswich most days! :D

Hi Stuart,
Will work a treat with a aquamax6000 im only using a 3500 which could do with being bigger-but only on a small tank! What media are you going to use?

Hi,

Unfortunately any progress on the pond was well and truely rained off! I did however brave the mud and do a bit to my qt. Started by building a frame to hold a net over the qt. Then built a strengthening frame to support tank. Then i built them a wendy house! Got one of those pop up green houses which, after a slight modification fits a treat! Now its out the wind and in the sun all day-hopefully should insulate it a bit. Heater should be here on tuesday and Amanda has been kind enough to get me some insulation-thanks will pm you in the week!

Cheers Andy :D

Hi Gazza And Bob,

I was well chuffed with the fit- the 'wendy house' is actually two inches too small but i had to remove one pole as the pump and pipe were in the way so fitted nice and snug-plus was just about high enough to fit the shower in.Hopefully should help to insulate the shower a bit and gets it out the wind! Just checked on the two small koi in the qt and its fairly warm and full of condensation so must be bit warmer than outside! Just need the heater now!

Cheers Andy :D

Hi,

What a great idea, and looks really neat. That should also reduce the amount of chilling from the showers!

Great job.

Thanks,

Daniel
