Hi Matt, may sound stupid and you may have checked but has the fuse in the plug blown, might be worth checking,

ahhh didnt think of that did check the ones in the switch box in garage and they were ok though. problem with current setup is the plugs/uv etc are all in a concrete hole thats only 2foot by 1 foot.
i cant wait till i can do it myself so its a lot more accesable. the people who owned house before me built it for koi but by all accounts didnt really do enough research.

There is a distinct possibility i may be in braintree in a few hours time.
