i have in my last bay a large amont of bio balls but there all lose so to clean is a pain and they can if messed about with get in the pond can any one recomend a sack to contain them as thay also get under my third bay as all are removable so the lid wont go down on the filter box
i was told a carrot sack might do ? as they are lose

sorted that one out my son had a fishing keepnet he never used i cut the rings out and jobs a goodun i still got six feet left if any ony one needs it sow up one end and cable tie the other and will never rot as it nylon and as it was nver used it has not been dunked in a dirty lake also its very fine

Interesting idea, but I think you might be in for a spot of trouble.
If the net is too fine, I think you`ll find that it will get blocked up pretty quickly and the water wont then be able to get to the balls. It will try to find a way round the bag, `tracking`, and bypass the media altogether.
Your filter will then have one chamber not working, and your water quality will suffer.
Just my opinion, but I`d recommend that you keep my eye on your ballbag for signs of trouble.

i will do that it was just last minute thing as we could not get a carrot bag any were , as for the ballbag lol that i will leave for the wife to check lol
