Fixing polycarbonate sheets

Hi guys

I wonder if anyone can offer some help, advice or examples of their own creations to help me with the following;

I'm ready to start glaze a large window in my shed and build polycarbonate hoods for the pond and bakki shower. Having looked at various sources of information, it appears that the only way to do this is to use very expensive "F profile" strips to ensure that the structure remains rigid and doesn't buckle due thermal expansion. Has anyone got any ideas as to how I could do this more cheaply without compromising the integrity of the structure.

Jon,

I've used some cheap white plastic 'bead' strip, which I fixed on the inside corner of the poly carb, was probably 20mm across. Just screwed through the poly card into it, used cup washers on the outside as well, to stop the screw pulling through the poly carb. Think I bought the bead at the same place I got the poly card, it is used on double glazing window installations in corners.
