Hello all,
I`m looking at getting an Aquamax 8000 Dry pump but wanted to see the thoughts of others about the pump before I buy one.
The pump has an 1.5" out feed, as I will be pumping up 2mtrs would it be best to use 1" pipe from pump to reduce back presure ?
Regards
Russ.

I think you will find better all around pumps than this, with lower wattage, & a better price.
What are you going to use it for, skimmer, return.

Re: Aquamax 8000 Dry pump
As my pond is small I wanted to fit a solid handling pump to the bottom drain (at the moment used for waste flush only) then pump into a sieve then to filters, I`d like to use an external pump to reduce things in pond but if I have to I will use an in pond pump.

Try looking @ the Super fish Eco range of pumps,
Re: Aquamax 8000 Dry pump
Just changed an Oase eco 12000 over to a Oase aquamax drymount 14000, spot on, quieter and plenty of power + 5 year warranty.
Highly recommended.
